In Kötschach - only 500 m from our hotel - is a ltitle but absolu beautiful small ski area - prefect for children and families who prefer to enjoy calm skiing.

Discover one of Austria’s largest skiing areas, the Nassfeld ski El Dorado with its 36 lifts, a FIS descent and pistes of all degrees of difficulties, with the new Millennium cable car taking you there in only 20 minutes. The skier’s heart will jump at carving in the powder snow, while there’s also plenty for snowboarders to experience. It’s also easily reached by daily ski bus.

The family skiing area around Kötschach-Mauthen with one chair lift and two T-bars, is ideal for families and skiers who like it quieter and is particularly suitable for the little ones learning the basics of skiing.
